About me

Fully qualified, MUKCP and MBACP registered Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Life Coach and Mentor with more than fifteen years of experience in private and clinical practice.

How therapy and counselling can help

Welcome, you may be looking for a therapist, counsellor or coach to address a specific issue, perhaps an experience from the past that is impacting you now, or there may be a general feeling that something is not quite right. Many people find talking with someone, in confidence, helps them discover who they are and helps them make informed, self-loving and kinder choices.

Therapy and counselling help you uncover your authentic self by fostering self-awareness, processing repressed emotions, and addressing past experiences and present behaviours. This journey frees you to reconnect with your innate self-worth, cultivating personal autonomy and resilience to navigate life's challenges.

Life coaching complements this by identifying and clearing unconscious patterns and beliefs, empowering you to set meaningful goals and take action toward a fulfilling and nourishing life.

What I offer

I offer online psychotherapy, counselling, life coaching, and mentoring sessions, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches. My work integrates Relational methods within a Transactional Analysis (TA) and humanistic framework. While theories and tools provide valuable insights, the heart of our work lies in fostering a safe, ethical, and respectful therapeutic relationship.

What to expect in our first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation, giving you the space to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain. This also allows us both to determine if I’m the right fit for you or if another professional or service might better meet your needs.

If you choose to continue, our first session will focus on understanding your reasons for seeking therapy, what you’d like to explore, and your hopes for the process. Together, we’ll discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your journey.

My approach

My passion is to get to the heart of the matter by holding a compassionate, kind, yet firm, loving space. I hold the belief that everyone already has the answers within them and is far more capable than they currently perceive. It is a two-way, co-creative approach, where growth occurs when the intention is to find new and better ways to live.

Training, qualifications & experience

I first trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) at the Metanoia Institute in West London, earning an MSc in Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, along with Postgraduate Diplomas in Psychotherapy and Counselling. Before this, I trained as a Life Coach and Mentor with the Global Coaching Academy in Australia.

Psychotherapy, counselling, life coaching, and mentoring are distinct yet complementary approaches, each addressing different needs and goals. You may choose to integrate elements from all three, and I’m always happy to discuss how we can tailor our work together to create a pathway that feels right for you.

Committed to supporting others, I spent five years volunteering for a helpline that assists individuals facing addictions, mental health challenges, and suicidal feelings. I currently offer six-month group therapy programs specifically designed for those who have experienced child sexual abuse, providing a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
