About us

We are a community interest company delivering low-cost and accessible counselling to individuals 18+.

Cost per session depends on your income (£15-£40).

We offer a range of psychological therapies, delivered by trainees and qualified practitioners. Following an assessment, we assign a therapist within 3 days.

Our trainees are carefully selected, vetted and supervised to provide high-quality counselling.

To start therapy, book an assessment: https://headstrongcounselling.co.uk/

Training, qualifications & experience

We offer a range of psychological therapies and coaching, including CBT, person-centred, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, gestalt, integrative, EMDR, somatic therapy, existential, and others. Our low cost trainee service costs between £15-£35, depending on income. For a qualified therapist, sessions are £40 per session. We are committed to making therapy accessible and low-cost, long-term.

It is important for us that all clients are provided with the opportunity to be matched to a therapist who is best suited to their needs. This will be discussed with you in your initial assessment.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
