About me

Trauma, neurodiversity and attachment-informed practitioner. Whether you are struggling with complex mental or emotional difficulties or want to gain a better understanding of yourself and your existence, I aim to provide an inviting, encouraging, and confidential space for us to make sense of your present situation. While I offer practical support to manage mental health symptoms, my interest and strength lie in identifying the events and experiences that have brought you to your present situation and clarifying what may be keeping you stuck there. Sessions thus often focus on exploring relational patterns and beliefs about yourself, others, and the world that may be stopping you from moving forward. Throughout, my focus is on exploring, understanding, and validating your individual experience. Please email me for further information or to book a session and I will respond within 48 hours.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over five years of clinical experience and eleven years of academic experience in psychotherapy and psychology, hold a BA and MSc in Psychology and a doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am trained in relational psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), and existential therapeutic approaches, and draw on all three to tailor my approach to each client's needs. I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Society for Existential Analysis.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
