Introduction to mindfulness and mindful meditation fundraiser
Introduction to mindfulness and meditation workshop and fundraising event, supporting Kelly’s Charity Heroes campaign.
About the workshop:
Come and learn the core principles of mindfulness and how it can significantly change the way that you respond to stress, anxiety and overwhelming situations.
You will also learn how to use mindful meditation techniques to help you feel more calm and relaxed.
Mindfulness has fast become a proven, effective way to stress less, and lead a calmer day-to-day life. On this workshop, you will explore how to make those changes for yourself as well as practice techniques to help you.
Venue: Cafe 1809, Hildenborough, Kent

Time: 10am til 12pm
Cost: £48 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. Fee payable directly to the charity fundraising page. Details upon booking.
About the fundraising campaign:
Dame Kelly Holmes is running her first London Marathon this year and is aiming to Raise £250,000 for Mind, Hospice in the Weald, Pickering Cancer Drop in Centre, Tunbridge Wells, Myeloma UK and Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
All proceeds from this event will go towards this amazing set of charities.
About the trainer:
Tanya Wright is accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, with private practices in Central London and Kent. Tanya also leads women’s group therapy for Mind and has been a mindfulness trainer for several years, including ongoing training for AXA-PPP Healthcare. Across this time, Tanya has taught mindfulness to over 1000 people. Complete well-being is central to Tanya’s work.
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited, with private practices in Central London and Kent. Tanya leads women’s groups for Mind and is a mindfulness trainer for AXA-PPP. Tanya has taught mindfulness to over 1000 people.
